Collecting Those Frequent Flyer Miles

I think Paxton has done more air travel in his first year than I've done in my whole life! It was time for another trip, this time to Utah! It was a short one, but jam packed with fun. Unfortunately Austin always misses out on the fun... I think he feels ripped off at times. Saying goodbye to dad at the airport. We missed and love you!
Hello Utah!
Ashley was there to pick us up at the airport, and we were excited to spend Sunday with Austin's family.
Cousins :) Look at all those blue eyes!!
It was only a short visit at great-grandparent's house, and then it was time to meet up with my family. Staying at my Aunt Jenny's house was so nice because I constantly had help and babysitters haha made me wish I lived closer!
The real reason we went to Utah though was to help with my sister's wedding plans. We couldn't miss out on all the fun!! Tuesday we went dress shopping with the bride-to-be, and luckily found the perfect one :)
Paxton also got his first hair cut in Utah. The curl was just getting a little too outrageous, and grandma was not happy about it haha
In a house full of girls, my cousin Talmage appreciated having another boy around. Pax it still a little too small to play, but I know once he gets older these two will be great friends haha We thought it was cute that they were matching this day!
Out to lunch with the whole fam..
and my old roommate Helen was able to come too. It's crazy to see us now with kids!
The trip went by so fast but it was a fun break from Arizona!

Swimming Pool, Growing Growing, and Easter too!

As I started looking back on pictures, I realized a lot has changed since I last blogged! Paxton is growing leaps and bounds which makes me sad to realized my little baby will soon be gone! Here is a recap of the things we have done.

We pretty much skipped spring here in Arizona and went straight to summer. Although I guess in Arizona terms this is spring weather. Our pool was closed for a week, so we got to use a neighboring pool that has a beach area for kids. Paxton was loving it, and even got a few mouthfuls of sand when mom and dad weren't looking...
Hanging out with his friend Tate :)
We didn't even plan this, but after we changed the boys from their pool clothes we realized they were matching haha
Things have really gotten busy now that Paxton has started army crawling. The way he learned to crawl is the funniest thing, but I guess whatever works... With crawling though he has now realized there is a whole new world to explore and get into.
"How do I get those things out..."
"Mom help!"
The other day I was in another room cleaning and I thought to myself "I'm glad Paxton doesn't know how to move to different rooms yet." I turned around and there he was haha Guess I spoke too soon..
He is obsessed with his feet and chewing his toes. Must be nice to be that flexible!
We had lots of opportunities to celebrate Easter this year. Some friends came up with the idea to have a Easter egg hunt but for lunch food instead of candy. It was such a nice day at the park :)
Austin's school also had some Easter festivities for kids. Pax wasn't even afraid of the bunny!
Easter morning!
Handsome boy on Easter!
Part of Paxton's Easter basket was a pool floaty that we have been putting to good use.
And to top things off Paxton's two bottom teeth finally broke though!
Like I said, I can't believe how fast our little boy is growing!
