Life From an iPhone

Austin told me the other day that I really needed to write a blog post or else people would stop reading our blog! haha But in all honesty, I just don't feel like there is much to blog about. So I took some pictures off of my phone, and decided to blog about the little things that have been going on in our life.
I pulled out all my fall decorations today because it has started cooling down around here and I love it! I didn't think the time for jeans and sweaters would ever come, but now it is knocking on our door step. Austin is almost to midterms which I can't believe! This year is gonna be a rough one. Lots of new classes, and on top of it all board prep is always on the back of his mind. With him being preoccupied with school, I decided to take on more at work and become the new DownEast Manager! Kind of sucks because now we can't go home for Thanksgiving or Christmas, but I am super excited to take on this new responsibility! It is so crazy at times to see how things work out, and how the Lord's timing is not always the way you planned it to be. I guess that is how we continue to learn and grow.
I decided to cut some bangs!! I needed a little something different and I love them :D The last time I cut bangs I had dark brown hair and didn't love them, but with blonde hair I am a much bigger fan.
Sundays are sometimes hard for us because it is too hot to go on a walk, and we feel like we spend most of the day on the couch so we have to revert to games. Then you have the problem of good two person games to play, so card games are usually our game of choice. Austin has introduced me to Rook which is actually pretty fun! I still need to figure out the strategy behind it so I can beat Austin....
After a long day of work or studying our favorite thing to do together is watch The Office. It is a great way to de-stress. I think we have most of them memorized by now but they never get old! I find myself quoting them all the time! haha
While I was home for the summer I made the mistake of taking on a project for my mom haha I volunteered to make her some replacement valances. I think this project will be the death of me. Although, after I finished making one it actually turned out better than expected! I mailed it out to her a few days ago so we will see what she thinks :) This is a picture of it half way done.

That is life right now. Pretty uneventful but still wonderful. I hope to post more pictures soon as the holidays start to come around :D
