Eek!

Oh Heck Yes!!



I know Austin can't wait to go see the last 2 movies with me :D We started watching the movies from the beginning to get him caught up and more excited about seeing the last one... it's not going so well haha

2 Months!

It's been a wonderful 2 months since that sunny day in April. 

Austin knew just how to celebrate our two month... with baby bundt cakes of course!

Happy Fathers Day!

Just thought I'd give a shout out, not just to these amazing fathers...

But also this guy.

The one day, father of my children (some time way WAY down the road) I know he is gonna be an awesome dad. That's one of the many reasons I feel in love with him cause of the way he handles and loves kids. By the way, if you were wondering about the bag of M&M's hanging around his neck, today in Primary we made bow ties for our dads haha It was a cute idea.

Curse You German Pancakes!

Austin and I have a new found love for eating breakfast at dinner (mainly cause it's cheap). Well we figured we would try out the infamous German Pancake recipe that my dad so wonderfully makes. There is a special way that everything has to be done in order for them to turn out just right. (As a side note if you have not had German Pancakes they are God's gift to breakfast foods... soo good!)

Like a big spongy egg... They were disgusting. Austin felt the need to be nice and pretend like he liked them but I know he was just trying to make up for me wasting 6 eggs haha

So with nothing else for us to eat and me having wasted the last of our eggs and butter we reverted to a dinner at Chick-fil-a. Yum! I love being so close to a Chick-fil-a that isn't in a mall but actually has it's own building.

After dinner we headed over Jordan Landing to see Toy Story 3! The movie was soo cute :D I recommend it to everyone. I had gone earlier to pick up tickets and "accidentally" bought the 3D kind. It actually was an accident but I didn't mind.

Aside from the German Pancake failure it was a fun Friday night. I guess the next time I'm in Texas I will have to learn the art of making German Pancakes from my dad so I can one day redeem myself.

Beauty.

On Monday Austin brought home these beautiful flowers! One of his co-workers grows peonies and told Austin she would give him some to give to me. I have now decided peonies are my favorite flower :) I had peonies in my wedding bouquet so seeing them again brought back lots of happy memories. Eventually down the road when we have a cute little house, hopefully I can grow my own and they will turn out as amazing as these! But for now I just had to share these beauties with everyone (yet the photos don't do them justice).

Our Latest Toy

A few weeks ago we went to Kohl's with the intentions of getting a hand blender and instead decided to spend all our gift cards on this bad boy...

We had to order it online because of our "Kohl's hook up" so after weeks of anticipation we were pretty excited to try it out. Unfortunately we had an accident in the process. The blender almost took off Austin's finger! We didn't check to make sure the tilting head was locked before pulling off all the packaging so much to Austin's surprise his finger got caught in between the head and the stand... not a pleasant feeling. As Austin put it, the mixer bit him haha

Even though our first experience wasn't a pleasant one, it's still a beauty and I'm excited to try it out! Austin is just excited that I can finally make some cookies haha
