Heat Wave

It's the end of August and we are in the middle of a heat wave. No bueno! On the news last night they said that typically in the month of August we only get 2 days over 110, and this week alone we are suppose to get 4 days not just over 110, but 115! The other day Austin and I were in a fabric store that had a broken A/C. Luckily, they had these huge fans cranked down to 65 degrees. This was the happiest I had seen Austin all day standing in front of this huge fan. He even asked me on the way out if I would buy him one of those for our apartment haha
Oh and one other thing.. as I'm asking this lady at the cut counter a question, I turn around and there is Austin with his head stuck up one of the A/C tubes (it was a different machine than the one in the picture) hahaha this other lady came around the corner and had to tell him not to stick his head in there. Austin may look 25 but he acts like a 4 years old some times haha but I still love him. It should be interesting to see how our kids turn out, and if they act more like Austin or me...

  3. That’s possibly the AC you need to beat a scorching hot summer day! Would you buy one of those for your apartment? Haha! But now that you and Austin have two boys, you might need a centralized air conditioner to keep you and your babies cool through the summer.

  5. Over a hundred? That must've been quite unbearable. And what makes it more frustrating is that you had to deal with a broken AC back then. So, it wasn’t surprising that Austin wouldn't want to be parted with the huge fan. Haha! Anyway, I think you really needed to have one in your apartment, in case your AC stops working again.
