Checking in at Two Months

Holy cow, I thought August flew by but September went by even faster!! We are trying to soak up every second we get with Paxton. He is such a cutie, and for the most part a great baby. We really can't complain, besides the dairy allergy... At around two months he started sleeping through the night, which has been a huge blessing. I think Heavenly Father knew that I need my sleep in order to be the best mother I can be haha. We usually put him down between 8:30-9:30 and he will sleep until 5:00-5:30. I'm hoping that as he grows that wake up time will become later, but as for now I will take it!! He is starting to like bath time more which is great, but he hates having lotion put on him. He screams bloody murder like I'm torturing him haha he must take after his mother on that one cause I don't like lotion either... Every day he gets more and more personality which is so fun! Everyone is so mixed on who he looks like. Half the time people say he looks like me, and then other half think Austin. Now that he sleeps more at night, he is awake more during the day so we have to find new ways to keep him entertained and happy. His favorite things is to bounce and dance with dad. One night he was throwing a fit and would not stop crying, so Austin started doing arm curls with him. He automatically calmed down haha He hates being stuck in doors all day, so I always try and plan at least one outing every day to keep him happy. Sometimes we will put him in his car seat to go, he will start freaking out and as soon as we walk outside he is instantly quiet. We are going to bless him at our church on Sunday, and we have lots of family coming out. We are so excited for everyone to meet Paxton, and see how much he has grown!!

We had to get his two month old shots... I was so worked up about it, but he took them like a champ! Cried only when they stabbed him, and then he was fine the rest of the day. I think he liked getting the cool spiderman bandaids haha
We are raising a BYU fan!!
And a Rams fan!!

  1. He is SO cute!! Love his football hat! Shots are never fun, I think they're more traumatic for mom than baby! Glad he's doing so well and he really is adorable! We can't wait to see you guys in November!
