Date Video

When we found our photographer and videographer back in October, they do a special thing called "date videos" to add to your wedding video. I had never seen this done before but basically they follow you around while you're on a date, and film all the memorable little moments between you, and your lover. Well Austin & I decided we wanted to go ice skating for our date video. Barlow, our videographer, met us at the Gallivan Center in downtown Salt Lake City where they have a cute little outdoor ice skating rink. Before we suited up to hit the ice, Barlow wanted to do some cool shots around downtown. He has such a good eye when it comes to finding unique places to shoot. He would take us down these little back alleyways, and glass bridges, and find awesome ways to film us kissing or holding hands. After that we headed back to the ice rink, and put on our skating shoes. I am happy to say neither of us fell while skating! There were a few close moments, but basically Austin & I are pros when it comes to ice skating. We were so good, Barlow even trusted us to hold his super expensive camera so he could get some different shots of us skating. Overall it was just a fun day of being with the guy I love, and catching that on camera for us to remember through the years :D
