Stars & Stripes

Yesterday was of course the 4th of July! We started off the day doing none other than hanging out at the pool. It was kind of overcast but that made it perfect weather to stay outside longer. I unfortunately had to work for a couple of hours but once that was over with we met up with some friends to celebrate America's birthday! And what better way to do that than with a nice double double from In & Out! Ok so we didn't really get double doubles but I just like saying that :D We met up with Kali, Ryan, Jake & Vanessa which was fun celebrating with other people. After dinner we decided that since the fireworks were going to be going off from right across the street we might as well just chill in the parking lot and watch them from there. That would make for an easy getaway... us and 1/2 of Glendale also had that same idea haha

Needless to say it was sooo hot! Well it was actually cooler than it has been but still standing outside in 100+ weather to watch the fireworks was a big change. In Utah/Idaho (where we usually are for the 4th) we would need a jacket to be outside at night but not here... it never cools down. Still we had such a fun time celebrating our first 4th of July here in Arizona :D
