Growing Growing

I just can't believe how fast this little boy is growing, and right before our eyes! I was talking to a girl in my ward and she said once you reach the six week mark things just seem to get a lot easier. I totally agree with that! I feel a lot less stressed lately, and feel like I am getting the hang of this mom thing. I look back on that first month, and can now see how crazy life was! So many ups and downs trying to adjust to our new roles, but now we are getting into our own little schedule. Paxton has been such a fun little boy :)  He sleeps well but has a super sensitive stomach... so I'm not a very restrictive diet which includes no dairy :( I am a huge dairy person so trying to change my diet has been hard... Paxton better appreciate what I'm giving up for him! Here are a few pictures of our growing boy...
I love snuggling this little naked boy in the mornings! His big belly but skinny arms and legs make me laugh haha
We call this his one-eyed willy look haha Paxton does this when he is just so tired, but still wants to know what is going on around him
I can't wait for the day that he actually smiles at me, but for now I will take these cute little smiles he does in his sleep :)
Starting him young as a BYU fan!!
Over the labor day weekend we tried taking Paxton to the pool haha unfortunately he didn't have much to wear... with his genes our baby is doomed to have chicken legs forever haha
Worn out and snuggling mom after a hard day at the pool :)
Paxton's 1 month old picture! And it was our first trip to church :)
Paxton meeting Tate for the first time! Tate was born two weeks after Paxton. I have a feeling they will be great friends haha
It's always a bad day when your binky gets stuck...
So this seems to be everyones favorite picture right now! Our friends Josh and Bonnie bought Paxton this elephant, so one night we thought we would just lay it next to him and see if he liked looking at it. I think this picture speaks for itself! This elephant is definitely Paxton's favorite toy right now! We will lay him down next to it, and he will be entertained for an hour or two. We decided to name him Albert the Elephant and he is Paxton's best bud haha
It's finally starting to cool down a little bit, so we went for a short walk around the neighborhood. Paxton loves being outside!

  1. Oh my gosh, I love the one eyed tired face! hahaha so CUTE! He is adorable, and you are definitely past the hardest part- go you! Those first few weeks are so hard, but take it all in now before he starts walking and never wants to snuggle anymore! Then you'll be wanting another newborn to snuggle with haha! And you look amazing!!
